I am a Texas Craftsmen and have been making pens for over a decade.  A Marine Veteran of Vietnam whom finished his career in the United States Navy as a Aviation Weather Forecaster and who can be    said to "has his head in the clouds".

Pen making is my "therapy" from my day job of running Double D Statuary, Inc. (www.doubledstatuary.com) I support my pen making addiction by selling these pens.  I provide my customers with a wide variety of high quality, individually handcrafted writing instruments with exotic woods from around the world plus deer antlers, rattlesnake skins, corncobs, metal and even coffee beans.  Customers with their own Antlers, Rattlesnake Skins or other materials they wish to supply can be utilized.

Materials are cut, drilled and then turned to shape on a Lathe.  Pens are then smoothed with 5 grades of sandpaper and polished with 9 grades of Micro-mesh pads.  Then 4-5  coats of super hard clear Cyanoacrylate are individually applied to form a hard clear protective barrier.  A final shellwax friction polish is then buffed in to perfect the mirror like finish.

Fountain pens utilize an ink cartridge.  These can be refilled or replaced.  Rollerball pens write exceptionally smooth, using a liquid ink.  All ink refills are available in Wal-Mart, Office Depot and other similar stores.  Should any of my pens ever become defective, I will repair or replace it without charge.  Clear view gift boxes are available for $1.50.  Shipping is USPS and is usually under $3.00.  I have over 200 pens in stock.  Do not become confused with Pen makers offering free shipping and/or gift boxes .  You can be certain those costs are hidden in the pen price.  We charge those costs only to those who want these services.
